Hello all,

Looked through a few related threads and cannot find any solid evidence that disconnecting the battery will clear the lamp on a 2002 scenic 1.9dci.

The light came on because I changed the fuel filter( plastic 5 pipe type ). And on test the green feed from the tank worked itself off, engine ran out of fuel and lights came on when it stopped.

I have taken the battery off to try and reset the warning stop light and engine MIL indicator. Just wondered if I was wasting my time..

Regards

Murchin..

To turn the MIL light off you need to get the DTC's read and erased from the engines ecu. Sorry put it's a plug in job. (5 mins)
