Hey guys does anyone know what the purpose of this is on a clio 1.6 and will it do anything if I remove it to filt piping from the throttle body

If you're going to be fitting an induction kit then the resonator box won't be missed,I'm pretty sure it's primary function is to cut down the induction noise.Removing it won't damage the engine or have any ill effects.
