Hi All
I am having problem with my scenic 1.9 dci. Initially the problem was poor acceleration response after few seconds accelerated but smoking. Also spotted oil on intercooler.
Yesterday I removed the EGR valve sure it was covered in black oily gunge. I then started to clean the the inlet manifold. Tons of gunge. I don't know how the car has been running.
This afternoon I have started to remove the air filter housing hoping to check if this gunge has got into turbo. I can't undo the jubilee type clamp. I have Haynes manual shows the the filter housing off but doesn't tell how to get it off.
Can someone help me with problem. Its not a jubilee clip. Some weired french contraction.
