please could some one explain how the 7 pin single electric tow kit is to pick up a left or right indicator feed
if the cable is only attached to one side of the rear light mount . Ive looked at so many different instuctions Im confused how without sending a single cable to the other light mount WILL I PICK UP A FEED? DOES IT COME THROUGH THE RELAY?

On the Modus, I picked up the left feed from the left lamp, and the right feed from the right - both indicators and side-lights.

But...

Do you have bulb failure system - if so, then I'd advise you to use a proper kit.

on my 51 plate with no bulb failure I ran a pair of 5a cables from the off side, under the boot sill protector to the nearside to connect to the tow bar cable. As far as I am aware there is no way to pick both signals up from the same side of the car

I agree with the other members,there is no way it will be able to pick up a signal from the other side if you have not linked them by running another wire from the other side,
