I have a 2004 Scenic 2 years ago (12000 miles) I had coils replaced under warrenty. Lo & behold today 2 years later (25000) miles the same fault has occured!! (well the same symptons have) seems like only running on 3 and the toxic fumes warning light flashing.
Do you think I would be right to expect them to be replaced free of charge?? or am I just flying in the wind???
Comments would be appreciated & anyone had the same problem? Last time I was told by Renault it is a common fault with Scenic's!!!

Welcome to the forum, you could try the warrenty route but I doubt you would have much success, yes it's a common problem and not just on Scenics. Given the amount of rain we have had recently, have you checked to make sure the coils are dry?
Thanks Chris as fate would have it I am having it serviced at 1pm so hopefully one way or another the reason will be discovered!!

I would expect Renault to pick up the tab for any replacement coils/packs on your Scenic II.

If no joy contact RCS and explain in detail etc.
