The display on my 53 reg Scenic Mk 2 has suddenly started acting up. The trip counter re-sets itself to zero and the clock flashes zeros, needing the time to be re-entered. This happens every time the ignition card is removed. Any and all help appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like the early stages of dash failure that is all two common on the mk2 scenics.
Contact renault and they will change the dash for you, but relive you off £100 of your hard earned cash.
Also be aware that if a new dash is fitted the vehicle mileage wont be transferred over, so make a note of this.
