I have found corrosion on the inner sill end both sides on this Mk 1 Scenic i acquired for my brother in law.
Not sure if it is MOT failure level yet but just in acse.

I may have to drop the rear axle and fuel tank to get it welded up.
1. the axle looks quite straight forward. it appears to be four nuts and the usual flexi brake pipe disconnect
2. I have no manual as yet but is there anything anyone can decsribe as unusual or awkward in removing the fuel tank.
It's a diesel if that is any different.,ny heads up appreciated.

I have to say this thing is in worse order than my 1987 Scirocco 16 valve, are all Renaults built to such a poor standard?
