Hey guys after some advise (again!!)

Car broke down again, basically Renault have said it needs a new wiring loom, and wanting £3,000 for it.

Is it worth going to an independent garage and getting them to do it, how much roughly are we looking at??



Any info/advice is really helpful.

The electrodes have corroded, I think!
Renault says its the whole unit that needs replacing but if we take it to an auto electrician it will be a fraction of the price as they will be able to repair individual parts.

Does anybody know if the point for attaching the diagnostics computer is anywhere near the fuse box under the bonnet?
