Hi All,

Need some advice...

Our 99 Scenic wont go into any gear apart from third

for a few days is been occasionally popping out of gear (usually when in 5th gear accompanied by a squealing sound) but this afternoon my partner changed into 3rd and now it wont go into any other gear, it will go into neutral butthen only back into 3rd.

I know the car is getting on a bit, but is this going to be something minor, or is there a chance its gonna cost more than the car is worth?
