my mates cam belt needs changing on a scienic 1.4 on a 54 plate.

does anyone know what special tools i need and any possable lurking problems

You need a couple of locking tools to set up the timing - plus you need to read up thoroughly what's involved.

you do need locking tools for the cams and crank. they are fully floating and if you dont use them you will i repeat will cause damage. if in doubt, get someone who knows what they are doing...............
