Hi guys! I am a bit desperate here and any help would be really welcome.

I have a Scenic 2005 1.9D. I lost the clutch acouple of days ago and it turns out, the clutch slave cylinder is busted.

Now, here is the thing: the replacement cylinder has been updated and the hose attachement is different apparently, requiring a new hose too, renault part #8200701283. But here is the thing : I cannot find this part anywhere! Leaving me with a car that cannot be fixed, which for obvious reasons is a catastrophe for me.

Anyone would have a brilliant idea?

Thanks

Not wanting to sound flippant, but have you tried a Renault dealer? They will be able to locate a part by the vehicle identity and/or part number.
p.s. they will be able to advise if this is the correct part number that you require - because there were plenty of options for the different scenic models...

Yes, first thing we tried. This hose has been discontinued 1 year ago and is out of stock every where we looked. At this point I am getting in contact with a hydraulic specialist to have the hose manufactured... or try to find an original slave cylinder.

That would be my next suggestion - find a specialist who can manufacture a pipe to replace your one.
Thats a shame that it's discontinued - and doubly bizzare considering that I recently got a rear axle crossmember for my Megane 1 coupe (!) from my nearest dealer.

Maybe ebay France (with painstaking use of Google Translate, if required...)?
I can't imagine why but there seem to be plenty of old Renaults in France...

No need to painstakingly translate - I am french. Nothing in France either. In fact, after almost 6 hours of very careful searching, nothing worldwide. I am trying to source an old version cylinder but it looks as difficult as finding the hose.
