Should the clock / temp be visible on a Renault Megane 1.6 16v 2002 (52) plate when the ignition is turned on??

Clock / temp is visible when:

1. Radio is turned on
or
2. Lights turned on

If radio is turned off and it is daylight then there is NO clock / temp readout visible on dashboard....is this correct??

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

That doesn't sound right the clock and temp display should be on with the ignition turned on as well as when the radio or lights are turned on.

Thats what happens with the GF's 52 reg Scenic .

Hi Recycled Scenic

Thanks for your reply.....I have got the problem sorted out.....it was a 15a fuse.....weird really because according to the manuals / handbooks I have the cig lighter, radio, horn and clock-temp are all on the same fuse.....the radio and horn worked yet the clock would only show when either the lights were turned on or the radio was on....didn't know that the cig lighter didn't work either as I don't smoke!.....fuse had blown, replaced it and now everything works fine.....by the way what does GF's mean in your reply... Thats what happens with the GF's 52 reg Scenic .

Cheers.....igdb10
