Strange problem or whether the guy inside the computer is just having a giraffe, when i turn on my lights i get the warning guy saying "side lights faulty" but i checked all the side lights and there all on :confused: whats he on about ?

Have you checked the number plate light?

Yep, the number plate light is favourite for causing this. If you have an older example of the Lag 1, the whole boot lid moudling has to come out to get at the bulbs :crazy:. If it's a later one, they had the courtesy to provide pop-out panels for easier access.

Also, if you're checking with the headlights turned on, then a front side light bulb failure won't be obvious either.

Both of these have had me walking round the car saying "what the 'eck is it talking about?" before now :p

Must agree with the above, had the same warning and eventually found it to be the number plate light

:d it was indeed the number plate lights, i luckily have a later version and just popped the panels out changed the bulbs jobs a gooden :)
