can sombody give for some signs to look out for that you would expect to see if the cylinder needed replacing

Oil in the cooling system
Coolant in the oil.
Loosing oil or coolant
Mayo type stuff in the oil / under the filler cap.
Car overheating.

Im sure there's more too.

thanks the mechanic i used said i need to replace cylinder head but i dont have any of those signs you stated just a engine knocking no loss of power
