Can any tell me what the correct spark gap on 16v 2.0l espace 2001 . I believe its either 0.8 or 0.9 mm thanks

It depends on what brand of plugs are fitted,

Champion 0.9mm

Bosch 1.0mm

What were the old plugs gapped at?

The majority of modern renault engines have the plugs gapped @ 0.9 mm.

Have you tried any ground electrode free head plugs at this engine? I mean plugs where spark goes horizontal.
