My Clio makes an annoying squealing/squeaking noise when moving off in first and second gears. As I speed up, the noise goes away, but I am a bit worried about it nevertheless. Any ideas...? It sounds as though it's coming from the driver's side, possibly something to do with the wheels...

Does it make the noise when you’re still stationary just after you start the car and rev the engine? If so then it’s probably the auxiliary belt? which needs either tightening or replacing.

Most likely the fan belt. Just get a new one, shouldnt be too much
