bought a clio 1.4rt auto off e-bay with the torque converter knackered, it is in the process of being replaced, as is the gearbox shaft seal and I just wondered is there any more recommended things to do, or replace while the gearbox is out of the car. Thank you kind people in advance

Hello and welcome to the forum.:)

That really is all there is to it really. As long as your sure that the gearbox is OK,I'd leave it at that. Are you using a new or second hand torque converter?

Sorry,just thought of something....

I'd be tempted to take the sump off of the bottom of the gearbox and make sure it's all clean in there.Replace the gasket around it as I have known them to leak in the past.:)
