I purchased my Megane 1.4 16v 6 months ago and I've had nothing but bother with it. My main point is to see if anyone can give me a little advice on this Toxic Fume Filter. I have been on the forum seeing previous posts to see what the next step has been with other people.

As you may find hard to believe, today is actually the last day of my cars warranty but because I logged the fault with them today, they shall look into this problem tomorrow when its in for its first MOT.

Alot of the fault seem to come back to the coils. Is this the standard reason for the light coming on??

I've had nothing but problems with the Renault garage so want to make sure I go armed with all the information I can get on this problem??

welcome to the forum. Most of the problems are due to unburnt fuel entering the CAT often due to coils.

Thanks Chris, I'm just wanting to make sure I'm picking up all this correctly. Alot of people seem to be saying that they have 2 replaced then a few months later the other ones go. Am I within my right to ask for all 4 of them to be replaced at once??
