Hello all, recently had my van serviced and the coolant renewed but have noticed that after this there is a leak coming from what looks to me like two metal flanges bolted together with a hose either side of it, this also has four prongs on top of it with 4 wires attached that go somewhere under the engine cover? I'm guessing I need a gasket to go between the 2 metal flanges but I wondered if i could just use silicone then bolt it back up? if anybody knows what part i'm on about could you please describe it's function aswell please.

here is a picture of the part.... as you can see it has two allen key bolts holding it together and is leaking from where the two halves split... gasket job? or just silicone? also does anyone know what it does?
