hi. I've got an issue when on boost after everything has warmed up. I get power in surges on boost . I have noticed that the hose pictured below. Can anyone let me know what hose this is and if its a common fault

Let me ask again.
Whats up with the pipe, you have given no info as to why this hose in particular is at fault..
we cannot see what you see.( You can see all the engine )
We dont know what part of the engine it goes to, just a plastic looking housing, with a hose on it.
It could go to the inter cooler, or the air filter or the inlet manifold , or the turbo mouth

Post a picture showing more of the engine

The hose comes from the air filter and goes into one side of the turbo. It feels very loose on the area shown. I'm not sure as to weather when the engine heats up the connection expands causing pressure loss while on boost

Where does it feel lose, on the actual neck
IF that neck where the hose fastens has oil on the inside, then it will feel lose.
Could you take the clip off, and change the clip to a jubilee clip
Not saying that will be any tighter..
Its normally SMALL pipes that give turbo boost issues
