I havnt long had this car but my turbo doesnt kick in until it reaches 5000rpm, rather high!! once it kicks in its like a rocket was just wondering if there was anything i could do possibly to reduce this turbo lag, or if this is normal. thanks

i am not sure you have a turbo.

I didn't think the 182 had a turbo! the kick your feeling could be variable valve timing or switching to another cam

:iagree: I82's dont have a turbo, well not unless someone has been busy with spanners anyway.

As above the kick is probably the VVT.
