havent heard of turbo timers being used on diesel cars to be honest
dont think they are required as they are not on boost all that long, usually just leaving the car on idle for around 10 seconds is enough to make sure the pressure and oil has subsided
id imagine it would be quite tricky with modern alarm systems?

There'a absolutley no need on a diesel turbo imo, they don't operate at anywhere near the extremes of temp that the petrol equivalent does. It's been said many times here and I personally agree, change the oil at least every 9k (or less even) and use a fully synthetic brand; that's about the only maintenance or care the Dci turbo needs. :)
