I've done some reading and there seems to be several things that can be wrong, all the way from electric failure to general warning light.
So what's the real answer for this and how much would it cost to repair? I have not bought the car yet and i have no idea if i should ignore the car and look for something else.
Worth mentioning is that the engine was hot and running before i arrived to the sellers place so i could not performe a cold start.

+1. Walk away. Even if you let them fix it they might just clear the code and it will be back.
Not letting you start from cold is a bit iffy too.
In my book the first thing a car needs to do is start. You can put up with a lot of things (not warning lights though), but if it doesn't start easily, it's a brick.
