EPB Dead - fuse location? **Well Fixed**

MY pain in the **** Grand Scenic is really trying to get crushed... After busting cam belt before christmas and I fixed it... it's now come up with a dead EPB - dash switch is still powered but even when performing a reset several times (both switch and ODBII) there is no sound from rear motor...

Yeah ive already spent a fortune getting the handbrake module refurbished ..new cables...was constant problems. So decided to go for manual handbrake ..its all fitted apart from that clamp. Was highly considering buying another kit 🙈

pretty sure you will have to 1) add / adapt wiring and switch near handbrake to indicate when handbrake off/on on instrument cluster otherwise a MOT fail and use a renault clip etc to delete epb settings in ecu to stop dash messages coming up. I have owned both epb and manual hand brake versions of a mk.2 scenic.

Yep i have been researching how to get a handbrake light. I work in a garage also and a mechanic that works with me has a renault can clip. So will tackle that once its all fitted and operational 🙂 ..going to give renault a call with that part number ...see how i get on 🙈

my 'guess' is you take the epb connector plug and find the h/break light wire and then just use a switch to common earth
