What is the normal length of a manufacturers warranty? I have an 05 Grand scenic (second hand) and was wondering how long is left of the warranty, as the "check injection" warning has come up.

Does a manufacturers warranty pass across to the second hand owner?

Any comments????

Fezz

Hi yes it does pass over but make sure all is up to date and serviced because this may void the warranty. Its normally 3 years warranty hope this helps

As far as I know Renaults uk warranty used to be,

18000 miles or two years servicing which ever was the sooner.
and warranty lasted for three years subject to the servicing being
done.

It changed to 12000 miles and twelve months service in the
closing stages of 2006.

This is renaults owner web page link

I think Renault warranties are 3 year, 60k miles; although talking to RCS sometimes it's until the cheque clears!

Yes 3 Years Or 60.000 Miles

You Should Be Able To Change The Warranty Over To
The New Owner Without Much Problem.
