Recently bought a Scenic Mk 2 and have noticed that one of the front fog light lenses is half full of water. Any idea on how to drain this out as the owners manual gives no guidance, Haynes doesn't help and the only bits I have found on YouTube just show how to replace

Hi

if you follow the instructions you found for changing the fog light & remove the lamp take out the bulb and tip lamp up for water to drain out. Place lamp on radiator over night to dry out the residue moisture.

Examine the lamp for damage allowing the water in ? If nothing obvious its probably the seal around the glass/ plastic.
Run a bead of clear bathroom sealer around this join allow to dry and re fit lamp and keep an eye on it for a few weeks (especially after rain ) to see if you have cured the issue. :nerd:

Or get a goldfish >:)

If you do remove the lamp unit, easiest way to check for leaks is underwater, trap air in and stick it in a bucket, look for bubbles.
