What rear suspension does the RL 1.2 mk1 Clio 1993 I think it's a phase 1 I'm not sure. I thought it was a torsion bar but I was told that it may be rubber bushings. Thanks

It'll have a torsion bar arrangement.

I had a look at the rear axle and can't see where the bar goes I couldn't see anything in line with the plastic cap. Thanks. I trust ya!!!!

All the Mk1's have torsion bars,there should be two bars,one running from each trailing arm.....I think...

And yeah that's what I thought. I've never heard of the rubber suspension. Have you? I was told this by a Renault technician?!?!

Have a read through the link below - it shows the torsion bar system on a Mgeane but the principle is still the same.
