hi ive just got my renault espace back after having dephaser pulley and cambelt change 4 days ago, was running fine until yesturday the gears were stiff and this morning went to go out was driving up hill and it felt like acclerater pedal was stuck on was going slowly up hill without touching peadl so went to press clutch and went straight to floor all floppy and now the clutch sprung back up and really stiff cant press at all can sombody please help this car is turning into a money pitt

I think it best you reattend the garage to see what has happened, especially if they have disturbed some items repairing the engine.
I understand the engines are tilted to a severe angle whenever pulley work is carried which I would imagine neccessitates many other components to have to be removed and refitted during the operation.
