Renault Megane 2 - Pre-Purchase Advice

hi all im new here sso here goes was away for a test drive in a 2004 megane 1.6 dynmique today and loved it 47,000 miles fsh at £2995 cant be bad only thing im worried about is the rumours about the electrics failing constanmtly
can any1 reassure me or are the rumpours all true

I've had nothing other than Renaults since the late 60s & can honestly say that I've never suffered from electrical / electronic problems.

Maybe I've been lucky, although to be honest I've often wondered after seeing the number of such problems how many are self inflicted by someone attempting unskilled DIY & after getting electrical issues just pass the car on. :idunno:
