I’ve recently had an issue with my 2014 renult Clio 1.5 diesel.

After diagnosis there was a fault with the alternator, this then got repaired with genuine parts and re fitted, since then I had the battery light and stop light up and a batter charging fault and check stop/start.

I have move taken the car to 3 different garages and all with the same out outcome. the battery and alternator are doing exactly what they are suppose to do. But they can’t clear the alarms. The car is ruining fine it’s just the alarms are very annoying.

the fault codes ;
Df007
Df083

any advice???

On the basis of what you have said, I would now be checking that the battery is OK? What was the initial problem?
The battery is running 92%.

the initial problem was the batterylight and the stop light came on. When I had it inspected the alternator was randomly stopping, but all that got corrected and the warning lights are still up but the car is driving well.

it’s the the computer is tell the alternator when to kick in but as there doesn’t seem to be a signal sent back saying that it’s running hence the alarm

Not sure what you mean by battery running 92%. Has anyone checked any voltages? If the system voltage is too low you will get a battery warning and at least one of the two DF fault codes. Stop / start also will be disabled if the battery voltage is low. Is the alternator charging properly now, and what damage did that do to the battery before that? Alternators will not randomly stop, they are turning all the time. They may lose a field signal but more likely the problem is the battery or its connections. Check both terminals are secure, as well as all the earthing leads to the chassis and engine. Just one question.... how old is the battery?
The battery is 3 years old, but apparently as long as the battery capacity is about 80%.

when the alternator kicks in it run at 14.4 volts
