Check injection, losing power, no fault showing on diagnostics

Hi everyone 🙋🏼‍♀️
I've had my 2007 grand scenic (1.5 diesel) in the garage so many times to find the fault but no joy so here I am 😭
The problem started during a UK summer heatwave - car wouldn't start and "check injection" was displayed on the dash. My local garage towed it and fitted a new pump which fixed the problem for a while, until the sub zero temperatures hit in the winter...
Since then, when the temp is below 1°C or above 11°C the car will initially start then cut out as I pull off (not always, just occasionally). Also occasionally, if I slow down to a stop (traffic lights, roundabouts, etc) "check injection" comes on and the car cuts out. This also happens occasionally when I am steadily cruising on the motorway - I will feel the car losing power and then everything cuts out and I have to pull over 🤦🏼‍♀️
The only way to restart the car when this "check injection" thing happens is to remove the card key for a few seconds, put it back in, press start+brake pedal and it starts again. No faults show up when the diagnostic tool is connected 🤷🏼‍♀️ the garage have checked over everything they can think of but can't find anything 🤦🏼‍♀️ they're toying with the idea of a faulty sensor somewhere at the moment 🤦🏼‍♀️ any ideas anyone? 🙏❤
