Injector Coding Issue

Hi all.

I've owned an 08 plate clio campus 1.5dCi van for about 3 weeks now.

I did have some initial problems with it when I bought it which had been crudely masked by the previous owner by stuffing tissue paper in the eml light slot on the instrument cluster.

Anyway to cut a long story short, I'm still having problems with the coding of the injectors to my ecu. These injectors have been coded into the ecu on 3 separate occasions now but still, after a few days the eml comes back on and sure enough the fault description is "injector not properly coded to ecu"

It's been 12 days since it was last done and I though all was now well......until this morning when the light came back on and sure enough it's the injector coding again.

Does anyone have any experience of this or know what may be causing it???

It's getting a little expensive now as the garage charge me £40 per diagnostic session just to read the codes without any further work and they don't seem to be any closer to solving it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi.

To be honest, I'm not sure.

The garage I go to is the same one I've used for the last 20 odd years.

He's always been spot on in the past but this problem really seems to have him and his colleagues stumped.

I've just come back from there now only to have the eml turned off so I can start the van in the morning and the codes were the same again, it's like the ecu is forgetting the injector (3) has been coded to it.

I'm starting to think it's the ecu at fault!

An update.

I had the EML reset as per my last post and it stayed off until today.

I had the codes read again this time by Mike at Gendan whom is a genuinely nice guy and was only too happy to help.

It was also a different scan tool and its thrown up a different code that I hadn't seen before.

The only code now showing is - "DF100 - Cylinder 2 Injector Circuit At Minimum Limit"

Would anyone know what this actually means and any possible solutions for repairing it??

Error DF027 can have three parameters

CO: Open circuit.

SS: Short circuit.

1.DEF: Lower limit.

I have exactly 1.DEF. That is, the ECU did not register any break or short circuit. According to techno, if you have 1.DEF, you need to do the following (quote from techno):

Check the shielding of the accelerometer sensor on track K1 of the brown 48-track connector B of the injection computer.

Check the tightness of the accelerometer sensor on the engine.

After tightening the accelerometer sensor mount, it is necessary to delete the adaptive pressure control parameters from the memory using command RZ004 "Adaptive pressure control parameters".

Error DF027 can have three parameters

СО: Разомкнутая цепь.

1.DEF: Нижний предел.

У меня ровно 1.DEF. То есть ЭБУ не зарегистрировал ни обрыва, ни короткого замыкания. По техно, если у вас стоит 1.DEF, вам нужно сделать следующее (цитата по техно):

Проверьте экранирование датчика акселерометра на контакте К1 коричневого 48-контактного разъема B компьютера впрыска.

Проверьте герметичность датчика акселерометра на двигателе.

После затяжки крепления датчика акселерометра необходимо удалить из памяти параметры адаптивного регулирования давления с помощью команды RZ004 «Параметры адаптивного регулирования давления».

Я именно так и сделал и это уже 400 километров

я на картере спереди. Происходит от него

экранированный провод с заземлением рядом
