Hi all,
I hope there is somebody reading that can solve this puzzle.
My 65 Kadjar 1.6 DCI at 53k miles is coming up with an error on the dashboard: Electrical Failure - Danger - STOP; and a few signs that can be symptoms of quite a few problems:
Car drives just fine even when the error is on, but I think that the battery drains in the meantime. Dealer is asking for >£100 just for the diagnosis and I'd like to save it or spend it for a battery or the other possible broken piece than paying their crazy hour rate.
What would you guys advise?
Many thanks 🙌

My 65 Kadjar 1.6 DCI at 53k miles is coming up with an error on the dashboard: Electrical Failure - Danger - STOP; and a few signs that can be symptoms of quite a few problems:
- "Check Stop - Start" message'
- Generic P2503 ( charging system voltage low)
- Engine not cranking sometimes - dashboard goes back to "OK" - you can hear clicking from the fuse box. It would jump start after 5-10''
- Battery voltage when the error is on is <14 (around 12v and dropping) which hints that isn't charging. Battery health checks were good, it just needed charging they said. To admit that it could be between 2 and 6 years old.
- Cruise control not working when error is on.
