Sorry to hear that you have this issue.

First an foremost, have you changed your battery at any point? If you haven't, it could very well be signs of your battery ageing.

That's the easiest method of fix.

Unfortunately, there's members of on the Captur forum who have also had the same fault as yourself.

To rectify the issue for many of those members. They have to replace an actuator and 2 sensors in the gearbox body controller.

By no means, is this me telling you that these are your exact possible fixes. My suggestion would be to go to an auto gearbox specialist and let them diagnose the issue for you. As those 3 parts are estimated to cost over £600.

Either way you go about resolving your issue. Please up date us if you resolve your issue. Thus - helping future members out if they get this same fault.
