Scenic 3 1.5 DCI Intake Air Temp Sensor Location

I’ve got a 2011 Scenic 3 DCI with the 1.5 110 engine. While driving it recently I’ve got the feeling something is amiss at times - not all the time though. it drives ok and sounds normal. MPG may be down a bit but the traffic is very stop start at the moment due to roadworks all over the place.
I plugged my foxwell scanner into it and I had a glow plug circuit issue which is fair enough and hopefully easy to remedy with a set of glow plugs.
However, it also showed a DF063/Memory fault - instrument panel multiplexed emission absent. Intake Air Temperature Circuit, Low Input.
i thought I’d investigate this and did the usual google search. Practically useless results from it’s located in the air filter housing, to its in the MAF Sensor or the MAP sensor and even it hasn’t got one!!.
I then thought I’d ring my local dealership and ask them.
The parts person asked what I was after to I told him the story so far and he asked where the sensor was located so he could look it up.
I told him I had no idea where it was located.
He then asked if it was the external temperature sensor or the temperature sensor fitted to the water pump!! I asked him if it’s normal to fit an air intake temp sensor to the water pump. The line stayed quiet for a couple of seconds.
He then said without knowing it’s location, he couldn’t look it up.
i told him that’s why I rang them as, being a Renault dealership, they should have all the information to its location on their computers.
He asked who scanned it and what with.
I told him it was my own scan on my own equipment to.which he replied to take it to a garage and get them to scan it and the scan would tell them where it was.
i told him they would be unlikely to tell me where if was if a Renault dealer couldn’t. Quiet again.
I asked if it would be combined with the MAF sensor. He said no and it wouldn’t be in the air filter housing either - which raises the question ‘how could he say where it isn‘t when he doesn’t know where it is??. He did quote over £200 for the MAF though and then said they’ve only ever sold 2 of them for the Scenic 3.
I asked him where I would get the location info from. He suggested a Haynes manual to which I replied they don’t supply one for the Scenic 3. Scenic 2 yes but not the 3.
I gave up losing the will to live.?
Could someone help with the location of the Air Intake Temperature Sensor on this car please?

All I can say is with my old Scenic 2 1.5 DCI, a cheap OBD2 reader told me that the air inlet temp was -40c.
Obviously ridiculous.
I did the same sort of search as you but without the visit to the dealer.
Decided that as the motor was running okay, I'd ignore.
Situation unchanged when the car left me after 3-4 years, still -40, still no idea if I had one, never did find one, nothing untoward on running.

Your feeling that something is amis could well be early signs of EGR needing a clean or air filter change needed.
Both would give that sort of feeling on my Scenic well before any fault became apparent.
