You will not get any answers unless you tell people what car it is, model, engine etc.
If it's a car with a turbo, could be a split intercooler hose/pipe.
Just a guess as have no information.

As above, check intercooler hoses.

 

I think it has nothing to do with intercooler hoses, because it only hapens when car shifts from 3rd to 4th gear at range of 1800 to 3000 rpm. At higher rews there is no that sound, and also when i reeles throtel while shifting from 3rd to 4th gear no sound at all.

 

OP, FYI, this is a UK forum and the Talisman is not sold in the UK.
Turbos aside, next time it may be difficult to address problems specific to your car.

 

Didnt know that, but it has same engine and transmission like megane 4 1.6 tce 205.
And in the link i posted is video of megane with same problem, so i thought someone could help.

 

Hi Mark. Did you ever resolve the issue with the noise? I have the same car and issue. The sound comes in 2,4,6 gear but is most noticable when going from 3 to 4 around the rpm you mentioned.
