What size of tyres should a RX4 be on

Hey guys, I recently bought a 2002 Scenic RX4 Dci Priviliege Monaco. What tyre size should it be running as currently it has 215/60/16 on the front and 215/55/16 on the rear. Does it make any difference to the 4wd if the sizes are different?
Any ideas??

See the thread quoted above by Pat.w regarding tyre sizes.

You should aim for all four tyres the same (allowing for normal differences in wear) because although any transmission system has to cope with tyres that revolve at different speeds, such as when cornering, running longterm with different sizes puts extra strain on the transmission, and it would be better to avoid this.
