Just bought a 'S' Reg 1998 Laguna RT Sport 1.9 Dti without (amongst other things) the audio handbook. What are the "DX" & "LOC" functions that flash on the display after pressing one of the buttons, then disappear after a couple of seconds?

Anyone know where I can get an audio handbook? Thanks :eek:)

DX = Distant
LOC = Local

Don't ask me why DX = Distant - I think it's just techie radio terminology that was probably never meant to make it down to the consumer.

In LOC mode, searching forwards or backwards through the frequency range will skip past the weaker signals and only stop when it reaches a strong one. You should be guaranteed of decent quality audio.

Switch to DX mode, and it'll stop on the weaker channels too. You might get some interference on these.
