Alternative for Type D Coolant?

Hi all,

I'm an owner of a Mégane Sport RS2 2008 and I live in Costa Rica. I'm looking to change the coolant of my car. I know that the easiest answer is to buy Renault's Type D Antifreeze. However the local dealer doesn't offer it (yeah, the dealer sucks - but that's another topic).

So, what would you say it's the best Alternative Coolant for an RS2 other than the Renault Type D?

I've been looking online for options other than the Type D and so far I have just few details:

- Renault's Type D is the same as Gulf Organic Coolant
- The most important feature of the Type D is the ASTM D norm

I cannot locate the Gulf coolant in Costa Rica. Is it safe to look for any recognized brand with the ASTD D norm?

I appreciate any details and help you can give me.

Thank you,

Guys, seems to be that I'm able to find the Motul Inugel Optimal. :smile2: Now, I'm looking to change the coolant myself. For purge purposes, do I need to consider a particular detail for the Megane Sport RS2? Or it should be as any other car?

Update:

Is there any "bleed valve"?
