Best OBD scanner for Renault?

I'm planning on buying an OBD scanner for my renault captur 1.5DCi. I figured it would be much easier to diagnose any outstanding/future issues with the correct most efficient scanner to be used with Renaults.

Could you guys give me some advice on which scanner is best for my car please.

Cllip would be best but most of those you buy are Chinese knock offs..seen icarsoft get good reports but not cheap..here is a vid..

Cheers Phil. I'm looking into the knockoff clips. The problem with those knockoffs is that they tend to be stuck to 1 firmware once installed onto the nand. I'm not so sure about the clips though as I've never owned one myself.

IMO you either invest in a decent (and relatively expensive) diagnostic unit that can talk Renault...such as Icarsoft.
Or you spend a fiver on an Elm unit and an App for your phone....Torque app will give reasonable live data
