Have you left a plug off, think the sensor is on or near the radiator

Underneath that plastic airflow pipe work, there is a sensor , might find its not plugged in with having gearbox out

 

It’s all been out back together, my brother in law who done it all is adamant he put it back on, any other potential suggestions?
Black smoke coming out too on high revs

apart from a sensor faulty, would still be double checking, its easy done to leave a plug off
If its dropped down and not in the bracket might not have even noticed it
Find the turbo, hoses on this could be off, but being an open circuit, its either plug off, or a faulty sensor, or even worse a break in a wire..
