Try disconnecting the battery for 10 mins, it may reset the system

Make sure you have your radio code though if needed

 

Husband got home n noticed light on keycard not lighting up when lock button pushed.

 

I was going to suggest that maybe the button inside the key had fallen off, but you said it was locking the boot so I never.

 

Hi have you changed the batteries in the keycard ??maybe they are flat..if not if you keycard starts your car o.k it seems as one of the micro switches has probably come unsoldered inside ..is there a rattle from the card when you shake it??..get in touch with Garry at www.keyrepair.co.uk... phone no 07527031512 he will repair you card for you he's good and quite reasonable and fast return post..hope this helps..
