Megane3 1.5 dci fuel pressure sensor?

The 1.5 dci has a dreadful problem with fuel pump failures. It is worth replacing the fuel filter and cutting the old one in half along the joint. when you have separated the two halves of the filter, use a magnet to see if there are any metallic particles in there, if there are, then you will have to replace the fuel pump and injectors, plus remove the fuel tank and thoroughly clean it plus all the pipes and high pressure manifold. It isn't a cheap fix and quite often it costs more to fix than the car is worth.
