Sorry no one has yet answered your query BigMal.

I'm not ofey with the Modus but most door cards are held in place with a mixture of screws and clips. Screws are generally hidden behind the interior door release handle and other such places. You'll need to ensure you have located every screw before you can gently start prizing around the edge of the doors card to release the clips.

I hope that helps in some way :)

Hi, if you still need to know how to remove the door panel, this should do it.

1 Remove the bolt at the bottom of the hand hold, it may have a small cover on it.
2 Prise forward the inside edge of the hand hold and remove the exposed bolt
3 Remove the bolt behind the door handle lever.
4 Remove 2 x lower bolts on the bottom of the door trim panel.
5. Unclip the door panel at the top two corners and at the bottom in the middle. Hope this helps

Hi robinmodus - can I ask
do you mean a screw at bottom of handhold where you have put bolt?
and is the hand hold the actual door handle lever? - have found little black cover but don't want to pry it off before I know if I am dealing with a screw or a bolt
also do you or anyone know size of screws (or bolts) and are they torque (self tapping ones) - just incase (most likely) I lose them,

Can you tell I am desperate to do it myself as garage has quoted £330
for a genuine or £220 for a generic wing mirror - so am hoping I can gain access where I need to myself.
