That volume level is usually high enough for most people. Have you checked all the other settings such as balance, fader, etc.,

 

Yep checked the rest of the menu and all seems in order i have also re-set settings but 32 is not sufficient, I used to be in the Artillery and need it loud! I have a 2002 clio as a run around and that has no such problems you could blow the speakers if you wanted!

 

I know this is an old post i was wondering if u found out any more about this.
Ive got a 2009 clio and this is the same on my car max 32.. Not that i want it louder it just bugs me lol.. I think its for saftey im not sure. If you find out let me know #!

 

Check the radio instruction manual/handbook, some Renaults are fitted with a device that increases the volume as engine/road speed increases but you have to the multiplication factor yourself.

 

Thanks for the replies, Still have not found the answer. 32 is the standard maximum, as it also is on my 2002 clio, but on the 2009 it is too quiet, tried adjusting the speed setting. still stumped!
