Door switches?
Or internal selector switch?

Wouldn't have thought it would be all door switches but have you checked operation of all?
Internal switches are often three position, one to turn on, one to turn off completely, one to let them come on when a door is opened.... would be my first place to look.

 

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Yes when all light switches internally are set to come on when doors are open, nothing comes on. If I switch them to on they work, obviously when they’re set to off they stay off. So I was think it may be something on the door switches but I’m unsure? I’m assuming it can’t be fuses as the light bulbs do work.

Pull plugs apart, get phone in, take a picture zoom in, see if any pins inside plug(s)
are green( ish )

I assume you mean on the hinge side?

They all seem to be ok if I’m honest. I’ll attach a couple of photos but I can’t see anything that would cause an issue.

 

I’ve noticed the cab light stays on when the switch is put into the central position. I’m now thinking it’s possibly a wiring issue.

 

I have recently got a 73 plate trafic van and have exactly the same issue. My cab lights come on and works all ok, however the rear lights do not come on when I unlock or open the back doors. They do come on if I switch the rocker switch to the on position, meaning the lights work ok. Did you find out what the reason was? Thanks

Just come across this thread, did anyone come up with a fix, or have a diagram for the interior lights? As I have a 22 plate doing the same thing.

 

I also have the same issue with a 2024 renault... looking for solution

 

Renault fixed mine this week, they replaced the BCM under warranty and reprogrammed the keys to the new unit too
