Hi, i'm new to the forum but not new to Renaults, i have just purchased a very tidy 2009 Twingo 1.2 8V Freeway for my daughter (her 1st car), she is struggling a bit as the car has no rev counter / tachometer with hill starts etc. I was hoping to install a rev counter from a higher spec Twingo, parts are easy to come by but removing the steering column cover there is no obvious simple connection plug or similar. any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks Nick

where is your donor car ? are you able to see the instrument in place before you remove it?
it will give you a clue as where and how it fits onto your other vehicle.
In the mean time get your daughter to practice hill starts, radio off and crack a window
get her to listen to the engine & she will soon pick up on the engine sound as to when best to release the clutch,
whilst also keeping her eyes on the road ahead and not down at the gauges.
