Chimes not working Grand Scenic 3

I don`t now if previous owner of my Grand Scenic 3 disabled the chimes but they don`t work. Everything works fine (turning lights, and warnings for belts and hazards) showing on the dash but I don't have sound notification. What could it be?

Is there a separate speaker for that? Could it be it`s disabled?

Hi

Have you checked the volume settings? While parked press Start button (not sure if starting engine is necessary) & enter dashboard menu & there it should be.

I checked but there are volume settings for parking sensors.

Talked to some clip'pers today & they don't know of any way of deactivating or muting chimes in S III. They said it might be just cut off mechanically
