Hi guys, I have a 2003 1.2 16v Clio. I am looking to change out the UCH, ECU and keyfobs.
To cut a long story short the UCH has been operating the O/S indicators when the drivers window is raised. Then on Christmas eve morning refused to turn over the engine. Usual suspects - battery and alternator proved fine (battery by substitution and starter by apply positive feed to solenoid.) Fuses ok, wiring tested for continuity - all ok.)
Substituted UCH from my daughters car (2004 clio 1.2 16v) onto mine and lo and behold - engine turns over, indicators now fine but still wont start (anti-theft led on permanently on dash)
Ok now i realise I should have swapped the ECU as well. This brings me to ask the question. The UCH is a UCH-N3, with a reference (assuming firmware level) of CV5.2.
So If I can find a matching UCH, ECU and keyfob/s with same firmware will they replace my kaput one? Those on Ebay all give a serial number, mine is P8200272302. Does this have to match? Basically what should I be looking for with a replacement kit?
Any help or advice would be tremendously helpful.
