Hi

Seem to be having some issues with my clutch pedal! It keeps sticking about half way out, dosnt seem to cause any problems with the gear change! but finding it annoying. Is this a common problem or any ideas what could be causing it? When I pull it back up to release it with my foot there are no noises to suggest its catching on something it the foot well:confused:

I had a "problem" with the clutch on my 2003 2.2dCi which needed a clutch at 21,000 miles. We are not clutch users so were surprised to here this. Renault replaced the clutch 80% under warranty we payed the balance.

About a month later the car was recalled for a modification to the clutch pedal - a stronger spring! Check whether your car has been recalled for this mod. second clutch doing fine and we are now at about 44,000 miles. Hopes that helps.

Hi Ian

Considering the force I have to use to get the pedal back up I doubt a spring would be any good, but I will look into it cos you never know....
